Frame shows minor surface wear which is mainly relegated to lower areas of each leg.
Caning was expertly updated and is free of any breaks or discoloration. Reverse of backrest shows a secondary wood used to cap the areas where caning is tied off (images available). High points of backrest show stable separation to joinery. Overall good vintage condition.
This Planner Group lounge chair by Paul McCobb has been modified from its original design to feature a cane seat.
