Japanese, 20th century. Large round porcelain plate hand painted on top with three women (two younger children) dressed in pink, pale blue and red kimonos standing in a lush garden setting with red flowering tree, large pastel flowers and purple flowers on ground looking toward left. Feathered bird flying across scene over water expanse with small thatched houses across the bank, mountainous landscape at back. Rim with undulating black, yellow, green, red, and blue forms. Underside with black mark of mountain and mark below, likely for Suzuki. Diameter approximately 13".
