Canvas surface has discolored slightly over time, and would likely benefit from a professional cleaning prior to installation.
Stable crazing visible to painted surfaces. One 1/2" area of erosion to pigment centered near left edge. Canvas also shows a 1" puncture near center of work, as seen in images online. Unglazed in a gilded frame measuring 58.5 x 47.75 inches.
Signed and dated to upper left 'Bernard Dufour 58'.
