Good overall antique condition. Warm and even patina to finish and bronze fittings. Minor darkened scratches and dents, primarily to back, and check mark to right-side corner. Seam separations and minor fissures at top right corners. Interior of tin liner with some minor mineral deposits, commensurate with use. Base panel shows some fissures, flaking, and losses primarily at one corner and along adjoining edges. Please note this work may require the buyer to obtain a CITES permit to export out of the United States. Stand features cast bronze frog handles, marquetry, carved panels of pond foliage, and frog leg-shaped feet. Inlaid signature ‘Gallé’. France, c. 1900
