Painting has been double lined with masking varnish.
Surface soiling and craquelure throughout with some areas of paint lifting (but not detached) from ground. Restoration with inpainting is evident throughout, primarily to figure and area directly to right of figure.
Framed without glazing measuring 18 x 22 inches.
Signed to lower right ‘R L Newman’.
