Attributed to Wilhelm Kaufmann (Austrian, 1895-1975). "Walking Nude", oil on wood panel, apparently unsigned. Small figural painting depicting a classical female nude walking through an Impressionist landscape with flowing white and red drapery behind her lower body and gathering over her left arm and right thigh as she steps forward. Many inscriptions to verso of panel and frame including the name and dates of the artist as well as inventory numbers, likely from several galleries and/or auction houses, and a faintly inscribed word "Bagna...." appearing to be from the period. Framed approximately 13.625" x 9.5", unframed approximately 11.5" x 7.25".
