This work is an early example from the artist’s experimental Forms of Consciousness series. Peiser developed casting techniques that enabled him to control translucency using cast opal glass, which he went on to employ in his Palomar series. This work is number 12 from the edition of 106. Incised signature, title, date and number to underside ‘CSS 12/106 Peiser 01 ©’.
