Michael Garman (American (Colorado), b. 1938), cityscape diorama possibly from the "Yesterday's News" series, circa 1987. The sculpture depicts transient male figure holding an old newspaper standing in an alley surrounded by an overflowing trash can, trash on the ground, a cat towards the back crawlspace, the brick building behind him with graffiti E.H.S. '73, old electric meter boxes and a window boarded up. Signed and dated to the lower left on sculpture Michael Garman, 73. Approx. height 27", width 15.4", depth 8".
