A reissue of the first edition, with title page and conjugate leaf A4 reset, and an index added, folio, bound in full contemporary calf with Laud's coat of arms tooled in gold on both boards, ex libris Thomas Turton, Bishop of Ely, with his signature inside front board, with the stamp of Sir Richard Betenson, Baronet, and the bookplates of Joseph Bevan Braithwaite, and George Goyder; old rebacking, boards detached, lacking cloth ties, housed in a custom slipcase, 11 1/4 x 7 1/4 in.
