"Candy Wear" Brooch, Daniel Jocz, sterling silver and electrostatic flocking, lg. 2 1/2 in., signed. Note: Daniel Jocz (b. 1943) states that, '...all my work looks like something large is being stuffed into a small package and it wants to explode out of its smallness.' He began his career as a sculptor and started making jewelry in the 1980s. Jocz believes that the "chaotic order" of jazz can be found in his jewelry. His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
