(French, 1860-1945) a pair of Nanking plafonniers, model no. 2463, c. 1925 clear and frosted glass incised R Lalique France Overall height 13 3/4 inches Property from the Collection of James and Holland Brigham, St. Louis, Missouri a very impactful pair of Nanking plafonniers. No apparent loss to decoration, breaks or repairs. There is a chip to the mouth of one where the plafonnier would attach to the cieling. There are also several scratches or streaks of dirt to the inside up towards to the mouth where the plafonniers would of seen the most traffic with the changing of light bulbs. Light surface dirt is apparent throughout consistent with age and good up keep.
