20th century. Loose and dramatic pen and ink with watercolor accented art work on paper. Full scene separated into two parts and mounted to peg board. Battle scene depicting the Confederate Army fighting the Union on a Southern battle ground--view likely in Georgia, possibly of Kennesaw. Unsigned, presumably created by a family member of the estate. Pencil line visible down left edge of work on right--intended for joining the two as the scenes connect. Unframed peg boards measure 22.2 inches x 23 inches. Paper images each 22 inches square. Provenance: From the Estate of Margaret C. Johnson, Atlanta and Greensboro, Georgia.
