James Kirby (American, 1931-1992) “Spring Storm” woodblock print. Framed and matted under glass. Titled to the lower center, numbered "2-15" to the lower left hand corner and signed by the artist to the lower right hand corner. Frame measures 30” in height by 31” in width with the sight image measuring 23-3/4” in height by 24-1/2” in width. All measurements are approximate.James Kirby (American, 1931-1992) lived most of his life in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is best known for his woodcuts which were influenced by his love of Japanese wood block printing.
