Concord Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1815, mahogany case with gilt rope-molded frames enclosing the reverse-painted glasses, the throat glass flanked by brass side ornaments, cast brass bezel over the convex painted iron arabic numeral dial, eight-day time-only movement with butterfly pallet bridge held in the case by a single screw through the back plate, powered by a lead weight and regulated by a pendulum with a cutout in the lower right corner of the keystone, ht. 39 in.
