Japenese, 20th century. A large hexagonal porcelain platter or server decorated in the Imari style, each of the six quadrants alternating in motif between simple landscape scenes with birds, and highly scrolled cartouches bearing hanging cranes, the central medallion in blue and white depicting a further landscape scene, the exterior cavetto with a band of kites with ribbon swags. Approximate diameter 18.25", height 2.125".
