attributed to gabriel viardot, late 19th century the top having scrolled ends, surmounted by a poised dragon above an open niche fitted with a drawer, the case fitted with a long drawer above three tiers, the second tier fitted with a cabinet door inlaid to show a bird and an insect among flowers, raised on scroll feet, with pierce carved spandrels throughout.
