(American/British, b. 1940) White Dog with Pup oil on canvas signed Skilling (lower right) 30 x 36 inches. Scattered areas of craquelure throughout. Canvas is slightly dirty, with faint areas of discoloration, particularly visible on the dogs' white fur. Examination under UV reveals an even varnish overall, together with scattered areas of retouch, particularly visible on both dogs' fur, the larger dog's bushy tail, and on the left register of the canvas.
