probably italian, 17th/18th century and later in two parts, the superstructure having a gently sloping back beneath a pierce carved crest, with parts of the crest detached but present, the lower section with four drawers, painted throughout to depict animals and figures at various pursuits. Height 93 x width 79 x depth 20 inches. Property from the Estate of Marlene Nasreddine, Miami, Florida In overall stable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Age cracks and splits consistent with age. Extensive worming and termite damage throughout, particularly to the back and cornice. Lock plate to proper-left door missing; hollowed area on door interior from possible latch mechanism. Part of cornice tracery detached; majority of detached segment retained.
