19th century the architectural case with Corinthian columns at the corners, mounted with porcelain plaques signed T. Leroy depicting couples in bucolic scenes with exuberant putti, the circular dial with Arabic numeral hours, raised on a rectangular plinth base. Height 13 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Marielle Van Der Burgh, Purcellville, Virginia Front porcelain panel cracked in half beneath the dial. Other plaques intact and in good condition; light surface wear consistent with age. Case with overall dirty patina; some uneven areas. Clock runs and strikes.
