Carved Folk Art Pipe Rack with Pipes, America, 19th century, the rack comprised of a solid wood base with carved faces against a stippled black ground, the branch-style rack fitted with metal clips accompanied by two short stem pipes with ladies in profile, and six pipes including four with profiles of men, one made from resin, one with hand on bowl, and one in the form of a shoe, (two with loss), rack ht. 20, wd. 12 in.
