Japanese, mid 20th century. Pair of Hokutosha (Occupied Japan) shell form porcelain dishes with Imari pattern with gilt accents and traditional color palette of iron red and cobalt blue. Plates or dishes with hooks on back for hanging on wall. Marked on bottom (under paper cover). Each measures approximately 9.5" x 8.5".
