Robert Wyland (American, B. 1956) contemporary watercolor, hand signed by the artist, & complete with certificate of authenticity (see photographs). Measures 25-1/4" with width of 21-3/4" in frame, with sight image height of 14-1/2" with width of 11-1/4". Provenance: from the estate of prominent New Jersey collector. The marine wildlife artist, Wyland, was born Robert Wyland in 1956 in Detroit Michigan. He attended the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit majoring in painting and sculpture. Upon graduation, his professors, Jay Holland, Russell Keeter and Bill Gerard, recognized his talent and encouraged him to move to the California coast where he could further develop his art.
