Three American watercolor and pencil maritime works , signed W. P.M. 1830 , the first with two views of the U.S. Ship Vandalia passing the Isle of Flores and a View of Montevideo , the second showing Philadelphia and the Elm Tree at Kensington , and the third showing The U.S.S. Vandalia in a gale of wind between the river La Plata and Rio de Janeiro, June 4th, 1831 , each – 5” x 7 3/4”. Provenance: The Estate of Louis G. and Shirley F. Hecht, Baltimore, MD.
