Exhibited: The Art Museum of Princeton University, May-July 1993, American Art from the Class of 1953 Collections. Another work by Hicks from the same collection was offered at Sotheby’s on January 22, 2016, lot 1591. Provenance: Descended in the family of the original owner until purchased by the present owner.
