Charles Marville (French, 1813-1879) Central Portal, West Façade, Reims Cathedral, c. 1854. "CH. MARVILLE/PARIS" blind stamp on mount below image. Salted paper print from paper negative mounted to paper/board, image/sheet size 13 7/8 x 10 in. (35.3 x 25.4 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Yellowing, scattered subtle foxing on mount with some areas visible on print, minor soiling, discoloration, and tears on mount along top and bottom edges. Provenance: Property from the collection of Harvey Shipley Miller, proceeds to benefit the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
