Group of 2 cameo brooches comprising a shell hand carved cameo brooch depicting a feminine figure with upswept curled hair in profile set in an oval sterling silver casing along with a black plastic cameo brooch, probably Bakelight, with feminine profile with long curled hair wrapped with floral garland, ovular in shape. The shell carved cameo marked to the backside with impressed '925' along with a five point star and illegible letters. Black cameo is apparently unmarked. Shell cameo approximate height 1.6", width 1.28". Black cameo approximate height 1.75", width 1.5".
