19th/20th century the hinged top opening to an adjustable leather-inset writing surface, raised on twin supports. Height 29 x width 27 1/2 x depth 18 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois In overall good, complete, usable condition. Lacquered top in good, intact condition with some scattered wear including a small area of exposed gesso. Legs and stretcher with some "bubbling" to finish. Fitted interior with fabric, not leather, inset writing surface with two adjustments. Fabric worn and split. Additional images available upon request.
