edward thomas loseby, leicester, 19th century the pediment having two S-scrolls above a painted dial with Roman numeral hours and a secondary dial with Arabic numeral minutes marked Loseby/ Leicester, above a straight trunk and a bracket base, painted throughout with figural scenes, floral and foliate decoration. Height 88 1/4 inches. Property from the Collection of Cindi Giangreco, Chicago, Illinois Case in good condition with age cracks, scuffs, minor paint losses and craquelure consistent with age. Works possibly associated to the case (works show some age but perhaps not as much as the case); clock is not running currently.
