a. m. blomberg, late 18th century the case elaborately carved with opposing cornucopias, birds and branches, having a circular dial with Arabic numeral hours. Height 35 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois Clock measures 24 inches wide. Good, attractive condition with minor repairs, age cracks and discolorations consistent with age. A few areas with retouched gilt (leaf, not paint). Clock is not working and does not wind. When hands are moved past 12 the movement responds but does not strike properly.
