20th century of shaped form, modeled with four monkeys above an openwork back having rocaille and foliate scrolls, together with a bell and an inkwell, each bearing a crossed swords mark in underglaze blue. Width of inkstand 8 5/8 inches. Property from the Collection of Rhoda Rosenthal, Chicago, Illinois Each in good, stable and complete condition overall, without chips or cracks. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouch or repairs.
