the top possibly roman inlaid with a repeating geometric design in red porphyry, green porphyry, vert antique and brocatelle marbles, raised on a later base. Height 19 1/4 x width 44 x depth 27 3/4 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois In overall good, stable, usable condition. Mosaic appears intact and tight. Some pitting and areas of shallow loss to various segments. Marble border mostly intact but with some chips and cracks. Iron base with even painted finish. Additional images available upon request.
