the top late 17th century, the base 19th century inlaid with foliate scrolls, raised on cabriole legs. Height 17 3/4 x width 47 1/2 x depth 28 3/4 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois Provenance: Bernard Steinitz, Paris In overall good, stable, usable condition. Top is constructed of brass inlays and lacquered wood. Inlays all appear present but some are loose. The top as tight age splits to the lacquered finish. Legs intact and tight to top. When viewed from the underside evidence of past joints visible.
