20th century having a circular marble-inset top raised on square tapering legs mounted with garlands and joined by a quadripartite medial shelf. Height 31 x diameter 27 1/2 inches. In good, stable condition overall. Likely refinished. Light surface wear to the marble top (scratches and nicks), particularly visible on one patch along the gilt bronze edge. Light to moderate surface wear to the gilt bronze mounts; one portion of the gilt bronze molded edge is detached. Scattered tight age splits to the veneer. Areas of retouch to the varnish on one leg. General surface wear to the legs and feet.
