Andrew Gordon Moore (American) single matted & framed under glass lithograph in gold tone frame. Signed "Andrew G. Moore" in pencil to lower right, titled in pencil to lower center "Sharp-Shin" ( signifying the subject matter of the Sharpshinned Hawk), & numbered in pencil to lower left #2/950. Has a framed height of 24-3/4" with width of 30-1/2", and sight image height of 15-1/2" with width of 21-1/2". All measurements are approximate, in overall good condition.Andrew Gordon Moore lives and paints on Martha's Vineyard. He is a realist painter, working in watercolor, egg tempera and oil. His work is owned by collectors, mostly from New England, often with ties to Martha’s Vineyard. While he has shown on Newbury Street in Boston, at various Vineyard galleries, and had a one-man show at the New Britain Museum of American Art, he prefers the direct contact offered by his private gallery. His work appeared in American Artist Magazine, June 1998, and New England/ New Talent, an exhibit of seventeen artists chosen from a field of five hundred at the Fitchburg Art Museum.
