SALIR (Italian (Murano), founded 1923) for Buccellati (Italian (Milan), founded 1919), circa 1940s. A large finely etched and engraved blown glass decanter or bottle of six sided flower blossom form, or scalloped cylindrical form, with each pointed lobe bearing alternating etched and engraved scrolls, flowers, and fruit, the shoulder etched with a floral garland, and the flattened disc stopper with further floral embellishment. Underside signed "Salir". Approximate height 11", width 5.25" x 4.5". Note: SALIR is an acronym for "Studio Ars Labor Industrie Riunite"
