American School, first third 20th century. A group of two Regionalist style portrait paintings, each oil on canvas, one depicting a black man with straw hat and sun-weathered skin, the other depicting an older black woman with elaborate floral dress and hair pulled back behind delicately wrapped scarf, one signed indistinctly to lower gith "Koenig...", each with obscured labels to verso "Galeria Copacabana". Each framed approximately 20.25" x 16.25". Each unframed approximately 15.75" x 11.5".
