Chinese, late 19th century. A Chinese Export Famille Rose medallion porcelain teapot with saucer shaped cover, the whole decorated in vivid enamels on white ground with alternating panels of figures, birds, butterflies and flowers with two circular gilded medallions. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 6.4", diameter of base 5.25".
