Japanese, Meiji Period, late 19th/ early 20th century. A fantastic bronze rectangular form open censer having cast texture and form of a dragon emerging from rolling clouds, the whole of organic form raised on four spindrel feet and having allover texture of spiraling and twisting forms. Underside with cast mark. Approximate height 3.25", width 6.75", depth 5.5".
