Southwood Furniture (American, Hickory, North Carolina, 1973-), late 20th century. A pair of Sheraton style armchairs, each having a crested back, outward scrolled arms, each with satinwood and mahogany veneered and marquetry inlaid fronts, with removeable seat cushions, resting on tapering fluted front legs terminating in arrow feet, with incurvate back legs. Both with manufacturer's label beneath cushion. Approximate height 36", width 45", seat depth 22.5", seat to floor 24.5".
