Karl Hagenauer (Austrian 1898-1956). Mid-century modern reclining nude sculptural figure composed of stained walnut wood on undulated copper metal band. Sculpture executed by Hagenauer, Wien and depicting a female nude with curling hair with eyes closed in relaxed state with arm bent and knee bent in extended and reclining position. Marked underneath with Hagenauer mark and "MADE IN VIENNA AUSTRIA". Height 8", width 25.25", depth 4".
