Italian, late 19th/ early 20th century. A pair of palatial majolica glazed pottery harlequin figures on stands, each in two pieces, comprising a male and female court jester depicted similarly to blackamoor sculptures in coordinating red, black and yellow costuming with heads cocked and arms raised in dance in opposing formations, each figure raised on a separable fluted column base adorned with hanging fruit at corners in green and orange. Each signed to base "Ceccarelli". Each approximately 55.25" tall. Approximate height of just the figure 41.75". Approximate height of just the base 15.25".
