Continental, late 19th century. A carved giltwood Rococo style console table, having a red marble serpentine top with a molded edge, over a conforming apron, carved with a central rocaille, with two acanthus and C-scrolled incurvate legs, mounted at each knee with a scrolled rocaille and bellflower drops, with a cross stretcher mounted in the center with a shell. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 36.5", width 33.5", depth 15".
