Spainish, fourth quarter 19th century. A substantial Baroque style wrought iron lantern with shaped canopy issuing four stylized chains centered with downrod and crown joining the rectangular shaped lantern surmounted with scroll work and shield shaped mounts above the four glazed sides, each centered with Gothic red glass panels within iron work and flanked by spiral twist corners. The interior with four light cluster (later) above a drop finial suspended for four stylized chains. Approximate height 54.75", width 13", depth 13".
