English, early 19th century. A collection of 5 Georgian tortoiseshell veneered snuff boxes, one rectangular in form with a blank sterling plaque to the lid and round brass ball feet, two rectangular with bowed tops, one with a silver plaque, one rectangular ebony with a scrolled silver roundel, and one a case with a hinged lid and silver plaque, some with original leaded interiors. Approximate height (of largest) 1.625", width 3", depth 2".
