English, late 19th/early 20th century. A Regency style carved and upholstered mahogany sofa, having a rectangular upholstered seat and back and sloped upholstered arms, mounted with scrolled mahogany handholds on shaped and fluted arm supports, with a curved and string inlaid seat rail with six rectangular block knees, each with a string and marquetry inlaid tulip plant, with six shaped fluted legs on arrow feet. Upholstered in diamond patterned textured yellow silk. With a single rolled pillow and extra fabric. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 34.25", width 77.125", seat depth 21.25", seat to floor 19.5".
