French, late 19th century. A Louis XV style porter's chair, having an upholstered dome, crested with a carved flower bouquet, the frame carved with acanthine foliage and rosettes, with fauteuil arms, beaded supports, and a carved seat rail, on incurvate legs carved with flowers and terminating in cuffed feet. Upholstered in beige fabric with a removable seat cushion. Approximate height 55", width 29", seat depth 23", seat to floor 20".
