Fritz Precht (American (New York), 19th century). "Oude Smederij in Antwerp (Old Blacksmith Shop in Antwerp" - 1907 oil on canvas, signed, dated, and titled to verso of canvas. Dark interior scene painting depicting three men at work in a blacksmith's shop, one at left pounding a piece of iron on an anvil, one at center holding an iron in the fire behind him, and a third man to his rear also using an anvil, with tools of the trade scattered about the dirt floor to foreground. Framed approximately 15" x 18.25", unframed approximately 9.25" x 11.5".
