[Mind-Reading] Victorian Manuscript, “Mind Reading A La Randall Brown. ” Brooklyn, New York, 1880s. Unsigned, four pages, 4to, on versos of Prof. Michael Bohanna Magical Apparatus letterhead, detailing the secrets of the innovative performer J. Randall Brown used to perform mind-reading and second sight, including his uncanny ability to find, while blindfolded, a small object hidden within the performance hall. Later pencil annotations on the final page, also unsigned. [See Burlingame, Leaves from Conjurers’ Scrap Books, Chap. 7].
