Model 1943 Field Jacket Identified to Private John Rigapoulos, 82nd Airborne Division, c. 1943-44, olive drab cotton drill coat body, 82nd Airborne Division "All American" patch on the left sleeve, the right sleeve has a cut-edge gauze American "invasion" flag, stamped on the lining with black block letters "JOHN RIGAPOULOS" above the label. Note: Rigapoulos fought at Anzio, Normandy, and was killed on September 20, 1944, during Operation Market Garden.
