Jones, Owen (1809-1874) The Grammar of Ornament. London: Quaritch, 1868. Folio, illustrated throughout with color and gilt plates, ex libris Worcester architect Hachadoor Demoojian, designer of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England, with his signature on the illustrated title, half morocco, worn, a.e.g, 13 1/4 x 9 in. The Anunciation Church at 514 Parker Street in Boston is considered the "mother church" for the Greek Orthodox population of New England. Demoojian was hired to design the structure in 1922. It was finished in the fall of 1924 and appears on the National Register of Historic Places.
